An evening of originals and cover tunes, but no cover charge! (we'll pass a jug). Good food and drink, and lots of music. Hope you can make it! Last Toronto appearance for the spring/summer.

Special Event! Gellman Family Band at Aquila Restaurant, Thursday Sept. 2
Submitted by Anonymous on August 17, 2010 - 8:22am[inline:1]The event is happening on Thursday Sept. 2 at Aquila Restaurant, 347 Keele St. just south of Dundas W. in the good old Junction area. Music will happen between 8 and 12, and will include original and cover tunes from the Gellman crew! This is the first time the four of us will perform together, though we have played together in various combinations in the past. We expect this to be a most memorable night, and hope you can join us! There is no cover, only a jug passed around for contributions…
Recreational Activities
Submitted by Liz Rubenstein on July 16, 2010 - 9:37amI am part of the last group of Kawagamites and we sure were a different bunch you might say. After us the camp was shut down permanently and I am sure it had just a teeny bit to do with the amount of drugs and dope that we enjoyed.
I remember droppping acid at camp for the first time, I think it was 1969...maybe it was August. And then, again. Anyway it arrived via canoe at Sandy Point.
We began our journey in the early afternoon and continued all night under the stars. How were we not missed? How did we get away with this? Who all were there with me? It's a blank now.

New Video to check out...
Submitted by Anonymous on March 26, 2008 - 3:47pmFYI...I've found and tested a better source for displaying video on the website....so, I edited my own slides over again, this time using Green Day's "Time of your life". Check out the full screen option...works well, I think.
If you would like to add your own videos to the site, email me at admin@campkawagama.com and I'll be happy to tell you how to go about it. I hope you enjoy the revision and that your new year is going well. That's all I've got for now...I'm out.
Ciao,
Jeff Hoffman
Andy (Snitzer)...at camp and later
Submitted by Andy Snitzer on March 23, 2008 - 9:18amCamp was something I would cry and beg not to go to every summer. I thought it would be nice to stay in Toronto and be with my school friends instead and I was afraid to leave home I guess. I would cry and carry on every year...beg, plead, throw tantrums...whatever I could think of to manipulate my parents into not sending me to camp. The funny thing about it was that once I got to camp, I loved it.
