First Notice For Reunion With Overnight At Camp for September, 2011...NOT 2010

The First Saturday Night Social At The New Hub for KAWAGAMITES - 2011
It will be 5 Years since the Reunion.
So

LET’S GO TO CAMP ONE MORE TIME, BUT THIS TIME FOR AN OVERNIGHT AND A VERY SPECIAL EVENT!!!

Les Cappe is organizing two days and two nights AT CAMP!!

Hi Kawagamites,

What If?

IF......I could organize (with help from some of you) a "weekend at camp" including one or two overnights sleeping at camp......rather than in a hotel, resort or lodge.......how many of you would be interested?

July 14,2007 - We're all invited to camp!

Most people who went to the reunion probably got the invite from Moorelands to come to camp for visitor's day this summer! I am going. I was wondering if anyone else will be making the trek.....thus, this message. If others plan to go please communicate! As great as our day was last September - and it was truly great - I would enjoy seeing our beloved camp full of kids doing all the camp things that kids do....even visitor's day. So, I am going. I would love to have some company.

Want to get together in Toronto for a midwinter drink or two?

Our website is making me nostalgic - big surprise!! - for one more round of seeing Kawagamites. It occurred to me that if Patty Harris and Mitch Speigel organized us for drinks in Toronto and dinner in Huntsville - why can't we meet - from time to time - just for one more round!

Anybody interested in picking a place to meet - and a date and time - and a few of us heading there for some mid winter cheer?

I would be happy to put a little time into organizing an informal gathering for those of us in Toronto - perhaps in a centrally located bar - I like Hemispheres near University and Dundas - but any other would do.... I am thinking of some time like mid or end of February - maybe even March - when winter is tedious and spring is in the air (if not in the mind....)

I love this website

I have never blogged before. I have never read one, other than those on this website, and I am not sure what I am doing. But I do want to say something - and I am feeling courageous this Saturday evening.

It is so great to have this opportunity to stay connected - sort of - with so many Kawagamites. It is hard to follow up our spectacular, amazing reunion day with anything! But, perhaps, this will work.

I have been unable to say very much about the "day of" because I am still somewhat choked up by the feelings and emotions that were stirred that day. It has been remarkably difficult for me to talk about our experience with anybody who was not there and part of the magic. And that means, in my life, just about everybody that I know. It was, such a good time!
